Mark P. Tanoury is a partner in Cooley Godward Kronish's Business department. He has been with the Firm since 1982 and is resident in the Palo Alto office. He served as chair of the Firm's Business department from 1999 to 2002. His practice includes all areas of corporate, partnership and securities laws, with a focus on the formation and financing of emerging growth companies and venture capital partnerships. He has served as lead counsel in a wide variety of public and private financings over the years and has been a speaker at numerous seminars on the topic. Mark received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Ohio State University graduating summa cum laude and previously was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mark earned a M.B.A. in Finance in from the University of California, Berkeley and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
